Kelford School an all-age special school, part of the Nexus Multi Academy Trust, for children and young people with severe and complex needs. We are passionate about providing the best quality of education and care for all our pupils and put them at the centre of everything we do. Our PRIDE values of Pupil Voice, Respect, Independence, Dignity and Entitlement are central to our learning offer. The school offers a curriculum that is bespoke to meet a wide range of needs and is one that builds knowledge and skills that our pupils will need for life in order for them to be the best that they can be.

Kimberworth Little Explorers

Is Kelford School's satellite provision based at Kimberworth Primary School, Rotherham. It is a provision for learning for EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. The environment is structured to enable pupils to develop early learning skills through play-based activities. Pupils access phonics to develop their early reading skills and explore early maths skills in order to prepare them to transition to Kelford main site in Year 3.

Forest View

Is Kelford School's satellite provision based in Rawmarsh, Rotherham. It is a SEND Campus for students aged 16-19 with additional needs. The focus is on Personal Progress, Life Skills and Independence with the intention to prepare for transition and adulthood. There is a real emphasis on independent thinking and personal development for each learner which is carefully matched to their needs, aspirations and planned outcomes.

Enterprise Works

Is Kelford School's satellite Post 16 provision based in Sheffield, near Meadowhall. It is a SEND Campus for students aged 16-19 with additional needs. Kelford students share learning with other students from Kenwood, Bents Green, West Riding and Talbot specialist provisions. The focus for learning is linked to employability and Preparation for Adulthood. There is a real emphasis on securing English and Maths accreditation up to Level 2 alongside developing learner's independence and readiness for their transition into further learning.
